Quant Africa believes that Africa investors have very little exposure to the myriad investment opportunities available owing to the limited number of stock exchange listings and the lack of depth of capital markets . In addition Africa is highly informalised and relies on SMEs which contribute a disproportionate amount to the growth and development of the continent. On the other hand , investors struggle to match their aspirations and objectives owing to the apparent mismatch and lack of inter-mediation .

 

Alternative investments can bridge the gap and enable investors to aid in the growth of African infrastructure, as well as key segments including mining , agriculture, healthcare and tech.. Investors can also gain exposure to high impact , high growth areas which aid in development including exports, import substitution and job creation.
